Planning models for optimal routing of radial distribution systems

<span>This paper presents three planning models for optimal routing of radial distribution systems. In the first two models, cost function includes capital lines, energy loss cost, and bays cost. The constraints equations include power balance equations, voltage drop radiality logic thermal limit bus equations. model considers equation in its quadratic form while second approximates each cable size by a simple linear segment considering economic loading size. third model, sub-models are used where one gets network configuration regardless sizes constraints. sub-model best on selected line is determined to minimize system costs constraint constraint. Verification proposed has been made using real 11 kV 34-bus with 68 initial lines.</span>
